I have always wanted to help parents, couples, and individuals become the best version of themselves. I knew I wanted to be a social worker at the age of 12.  I remember my mother having a weekly appointment with a woman I called Ms. Phyllis.  When I asked who Ms. Phyllis was my mother told me, "she's my social worker and she is helping me to feel better so that I can be the best mom for you."  At that moment I  knew that this was going to be my life's path.

I believe in the domino effect.  If I can help one person become healthy and empowered, then this will directly impact the other relationships in their life modeling healthy communication and respect towards their children, family members, friends, colleagues, etc.

With over 20 years of experience, I bring acceptance, empathy, and honesty to each person I have the privilege of working with. I have gained a better understanding for the value and importance in meeting people where they are at along their own life's path. With an M.S.W. and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the States of California, Nevada and Louisiana.  I am certified trauma specialist with additional certifications in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) by EMDRIA.  

When a person chooses to share their life experiences with me it is both an honor and a privilege to be invited on their recovery journey.
